Our Next Steps Class is the pathway to involvement here at the Vineyard. It’s a crash course covering the things we care about the most, and what it looks like to get plugged into the life of our church. As a bonus, it also doubles as a membership class. We believe it is important to have a way to identify those who call this church home. So, if after taking the class you feel ready to choose membership, you’ll be given that opportunity. We offer this 3-part class during one of our Sunday services, on an alternating schedule. For more information email us: .

Community at the Vineyard

We believe that we are better together and that no one should walk alone, so helping you connect with others is really important to us. Through Community Groups & Events, Classes, and CORE Groups, we hope to not only help you meet new people and find your place, but also build deeper relationships with others and with Christ.

Take the next step in your walk of faith or in the life of our church. Find out more about baptisms, child dedications, and what it looks like to volunteer on one of our amazing teams.

Volunteer

We are joining God in the renewal of all things and take seriously our call to engage in his ongoing work. We believe that ministry and serving in His Kingdom aren’t reserved for the spiritual elite or church staff! As the founder of the Vineyard, John Wimber, liked to say, “Everybody gets to play.” Everyone has a role in the Kingdom of God!

Let us know how you’d like to get involved in the life of our church. Fill out the form below, and check the areas that pique your interest.

Don’t worry, this isn’t a contract. Filling out this form just starts a conversation about where you feel equipped, geared up, or called to serve, what needs we have in those areas, and how you can help.

Baptism

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Baptism follows the example set by Jesus, found in Mark 1:9. For us it is an outward expression of the inner transformation that happens when we give our lives to Jesus and make him Lord of our lives. Baptism symbolically portrays a believers joining in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It proclaims to all that we have died to our old self, raised to new life in Christ, and now live in the freedom of this new life as a forgiven child of God and devoted follower of Jesus. That’s what Baptism is all about…celebrating your new life through Jesus!

Are you ready to be baptized since making the decision to follow Christ? Do you have questions about baptism or salvation? We would love to talk with you!

Child Dedication

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” Psalm 127:3

Child dedication is a public statement by parents who want to thank God for their child, entrust them to him, and commit themselves to raise their child to follow God. Parents who dedicate their child to God are acknowledging their role as a loving steward of His gift, and are asking for God’s wisdom and direction in parenting. Dedication is a biblical parenting principle found in both the Old & New Testaments.

When a child is older and able, they can express their own personal faith in Jesus and be baptized. Our purpose for dedicating children is to celebrate the gift they are to their families and the church, and give parents the opportunity to publicly commit to raise their child to be a follower of Christ. It also gives family members, friends, and church family the opportunity to express their commitment to support the parents.

If you’d like to dedicate your child, or have questions about dedications, click the button below and fill out form, and we’ll get back to you.
